Review: Pride and Prejudice and Zombies

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies by Seth Grahame-Smith
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book is so funny without distracting from or spoiling the Jane Austen classic. Elizabeth is still feisty, Darcy is still proud and reserved. Now the Bennett girls are all trained zombie killers. Wickham and Lady Catherine De Burg end up with what they deserve. There’s a twist with the story of Mr Collins and Charlotte Lucas. This is a satisfying read of an alternate reality version of Regency England. This book is my secret indulgence.
