Review: Wolf Hall

Wolf Hall
Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantel
My rating: 1 of 5 stars

Unreadable. It took me a month to read this book! The book is written from the perspective of Thomas Cromwell and it is written in the third person which adds confusion when there is dialogue between a group of men and the reader is wondering which character ‘he’ is referring to. I felt indifferent to the protagonist, which for a reader is a killer. A tedious book that was poorly written. I know I am in the minority with this opinion as Hilary won the Booker prize twice!
